The Crucible Fire Pit & BBQ comes in 3 parts: 1 Base Plate, 12 interchangeable legs/leaves, and 1 or more grill plates. The base plate weighs approximately 25 lbs and slides into the large carry bag. The 12 legs/leaves weigh a combined 25 lbs and goes into a separate smaller bag. And the grill plates weigh roughly 2 lbs each. So in total it is between 50 - 55 lbs.

Seasoning is the method of curing the metal and burning off any oils or coatings from the manufacturing process. It creates a barrier between the metal and the food and helps protect the grill and extend its lifespan. With regular maintenance, seasoning also makes the post-BBQ cleaning a lot easier. It will provide you with the best cooking surface to produce quality meals on your Crucible wood fire pit.

Without regular and proper cleaning, you run the risk of accumulating abrasive ash, so always clean your fire pit after each use since. It is important to wait until the wood ash has completely cooled down before you start cleaning.
